Scroll to zoom and drag to move around the map. Numbered groups open into individual locations as you zoom in. Use the whole-map button to return to the complete valley.
Search by name or filter the 35 categories. Select a marker or a result to see its related quests, weapons and abilities. The map contains 712 reference locations, including shrines, settlements, vendors, manuals and legendary equipment.
Vendor filters cover General Store, Blacksmith, Armourer, Tavern, Medic, Witchcraft Vendor, Silver Trader, Swordmastery Teacher and Food Vendor. Interest-point filters cover Destroyed Shrine, Will-o-the-Wisps, Ancient Circle, Tower, Haunted Site, Brencis's Banner, Curious House, Soldier Picket, Bandit Camp, Soldier Camp, Headhunters, Monster's Lair and Person in Danger.
Fast travel starts locked. Stand within 10 metres of a shrine to unlock it; the map labels an undiscovered one as “Undiscovered Shrine”. Quest-start markers can remain on your compass within 100 metres. Unknown map markers are hidden by default, so a blank area does not mean that every location has been found.
Mark a place as found, then choose “To discover” to hide found locations. Your progress stays in this browser and is shared with the quest directory. Open Back up exploration progress to export your full exploration checklist or merge a backup from another device. Found marks a discovered location; it does not record an emptied container or complete a journey goal.
Choose My journey’s pending goals to show the mapped locations linked to your current plan. A goal can have several locations, and goals without a mapped location remain listed in My journey. Other map filters still apply. A shared link keeps this filter, but each visitor sees their own locally saved journey.
Share a view to save its position, zoom and filters. A selected marker is included in the link. The map shows the valley’s terrain; it does not calculate a walking route or display separate indoor floors.
Open Regions to show the ten regional outlines, turn their color fill and labels on or off, and select an area to highlight. Greifberg Castle has its own boundary and level range inside Svartrau. Shared links keep the boundary selection and display options.
The outlines show regional areas, not a walking route or a safe path. Individual encounters and quest areas can differ. The separate Area filter includes locations with a listed region or a direct regional landmark link; All areas includes locations without an area label.
