Mysterious Bracelet

A magic bracelet from an unfinished ritual

The Price of Magic begins at an unfinished ritual and a dead body in The Silts. Find the ritual book and its missing page, then complete the ritual and defeat the summoned spectres. Mysterious Bracelet is the magically imbued reward at the end of that sequence.

The ordinary Bracelet and Mysterious Bracelet are separate equipment entries. The ordinary version has 22 base armour and a description about compelling a soul; the reward is an Epic hand piece with 26 base armour and the magic bonuses below. Finding a Bracelet before completing the encounter is not the same as already holding the upgraded reward.

After completing the ritual, equipping the Mysterious Bracelet starts a follow-up in which Henrik, the bookseller near Altenmarkt Square, dies. On returning to his shop, you find red Anachora moths at the door and an old woman who explains that his body was taken to the cemetery. If you want to show him Marcus’s Pendant, make that visit before equipping the reward.

Its listed base modifiers are +5% magic damage, +5% damage against mortals and +3% magic damage reduction, with 26 armour at 1.1 weight. Compare those values with the gloves you already wear; item level and character effects can change the in-game numbers.
