Loot the Barrow Lord after Unsealed Secrets
Search the defeated excavation boss
At the Unsealed Secrets excavation along the valley’s main river, clear the soldiers outside the cave and climb through the opening to reach the Barrow Lord.
When he swings both swords together for an unblockable attack, dodge away. After defeating him, search his body for Ring of Denial, Fine Battle Cleaver and Precision Manual. Collect the research notes from the nearby table to continue the excavation quest.
Recover stamina through parries
Ring of Denial provides -9% omniblock stamina cost and +9% stamina restored by parrying. It suits a defensive style that combines omniblock with successful parries.
Survivor’s Ring keeps the same omniblock reduction but replaces parry recovery with -9% dodge stamina cost. Band of Endurance instead gives +9% maximum stamina and -9% attack stamina cost. Pick the pair that matches where your stamina goes during the fight.
