Veteran Knight's Bracers

Look for Veteran Knight’s Bracers in the ruined-house chest on the mountainside northeast of Southern Swampside Shrine. A Ravenous Bear can be nearby, so locate the house as well as the animal.

Rust hides in the nooks and crannies of these bracers, yet they're sturdier than many brand-new pairs. Master craft.

Search the ruined house northeast of the shrine

Start at Southern Swampside Shrine and head northeast toward the mountainside. Find the ruined house near the Ravenous Bear’s position and open its chest. The bracers are a chest pickup here, separate from anything dropped by the bear.

Veteran Knight’s Bracers provide 33 base armour, 7% maximum Stamina and 4% damage against supernatural enemies. The Stamina bonus increases your available pool; it does not lower the stamina cost of a particular action.

Blacksmith’s Bracers are another Heavy option, with 31 base armour, damage against mortals and charge restoration from blocks. Choose Veteran Knight’s for the larger Stamina pool and supernatural matchup, and check armour penalties before switching into Heavy gloves.
