The first knyaz and the end of a peaceful rule
The first recorded chapter says Dacian Boarescu was the first ruler of Vale Sangora to receive the title of knyaz. It presents his rule as benevolent and peaceful, focused on strengthening the valley before the account turns to the abrupt end of that period.
The account places the change in AD 1148, when Pope Eugene III’s call for a crusade becomes part of the valley’s wider history.
