Carry more of the same consumable in a quickslot
Medicus I changes quickslot capacity: it increases how many consumables of the same type can be placed in one quickslot. It does not increase the effect strength, crafting yield or total inventory space of every item.
Forager is the prerequisite in the Witchcraft tree. Medicus II follows Medicus I and changes crafting batch size instead, so the two manuals solve different preparation problems: one helps carry more doses, the other helps make more items in a batch.
The manual is a skill unlock, not a consumable dose. Open the skill page and vendor guide together when planning the book, prerequisite and skill-point cost.
