Recover the courier’s hidden message
Investigate the abandoned camp east of the road north of Eastridge Outpost in Tantari Woods. Follow the footprints and collect the Uriash horn beside the rock wall. After defeating the Uriash farther along the trail, collect the arrow and the dead man’s sword.
Use Compel Soul on the courier and work through the three catalysts. The conversation reveals the message’s hiding place; inspect his shoe afterwards to retrieve it. The completed quest awards 100 XP and a Skill Point.
The message links preparations inside the valley to Catalin’s planned return from beyond the mountains. It asks the contact addressed as “C.” to prepare for his homecoming.
