High-quality steel. It weighs a fair bit, but only dead men carry no burdens.
Choose the plate for parries and blood drinking
Azure Puresteel Plate combines +10% Charge restoration from parries with +12% Blood drinking power. Those effects suit a combat routine that uses parries and blood drinking, while its +5% damage against animals is a more specific bonus for animal encounters.
Knave’s Heavy Garb takes a different approach: +5% maximum Health, 46 base armour and 6.3 weight, compared with the plate’s 74 base armour and 10.7 weight. The plate adds 28 base armour at a cost of 4.4 extra weight, while exchanging a broad Health bonus for its three specialized effects.
Compare the pieces at the same item level before swapping. If you rarely parry or drink blood in combat, the plate’s larger effect list may matter less to your playstyle than its armour and the burden of wearing heavy equipment.
