Before speaking with Isbrand, inspect the chest against the chamber’s right-hand wall. The conversation advances the story, but it does not collect the armour for you.
The preceding negotiation with the Hive concerns the kobolds’ bond. It is separate from the earlier Uriashi village confrontation in Song of the Mountain.
