Open Vicho’s night shop and check his rings
Vicho works at night on the eastern side of Altenmarkt. Find the locked shop with a note on the front door; during your first visit for A Study in Crimson, use Shadowstep to reach the balcony. Follow his investigation through Dr. Simeon’s warehouse to open trading, then check the equipment he offers.
Slicer’s Ring combines three claw bonuses: +8% claw damage, +5% claw critical hit chance and +7.5% claw critical damage. It also increases charge restoration from hits by 15%. That last bonus improves the amount restored by a hit; it does not grant a flat 15% of a full charge each time.
The claw bonuses suit a vampire build that attacks with claws. Compare Band of Claws if you want charge restoration from blocks, or Ring of Claws for claw critical chance and damage. The Shredder offers the same three claw bonuses as Slicer’s Ring in an amulet slot, giving you another way to arrange your accessories.
