Find Lazar underground and return to Gavril
Lazar leaves to gather peat and becomes the missing person in Deep Down. Begin the search by the peat bogs near Laslea, then use Focus Mode to follow his tracks toward a cave entrance. The trail can reveal that someone fell underground even before Coen knows who it was.
Once inside, the task is to find Lazar and a way out of the cave and ruins. The quest can end with him alive and escorted out, or with Coen arriving too late and discovering his death. Finding the entrance alone does not complete the rescue.
Return to Gavril after the search. He is Lazar’s brother, and the personal report belongs to him. There is also a separate objective to tell village elder Zdislav about the ruins, so finish the family conversation and the report about the site as their own follow-ups.
Hotfix 1.0.4 fixed an issue that could leave Coen stuck in a cave during Deep Down. If the route out is blocked in an older installation, check the update before assuming that being trapped is an intended quest outcome.
