Return to Zdislav when a discovery concerns Laslea
Zdislav is Laslea’s village elder and receives several reports about dangers around the settlement. In Deep Down, Coen can tell him about the underground ruins discovered while searching for Lazar. That report concerns the site; Gavril is the person to tell about his brother’s fate.
If a Tree Falls in a Forest… begins with an abandoned logging site and tracks leading deeper into the woods by the peat bogs. One outcome leaves the cause of several soldiers’ deaths uncertain, and the quest directs Coen to report the discovery to Zdislav so the blame is not pinned on Laslea.
The logging-site activity also has endings where Coen leaves without that report or suspects the sanzhani. Those journal outcomes describe what Coen has learned in that branch. They do not make Zdislav the source of every answer about the deaths.
Use the named report in the active quest objective when returning to him. Discovering the ruins, finding Lazar and investigating the logging site are separate pieces of village business, even though more than one can lead back to the same elder.
