Freeing Nora from Andrei
Nora works in Svartrau and is exploited by Andrei, the crime lord who runs the city’s gambling, black market and brothels. Together with her friend Ocha, the uriash daughter of Clan Bakr’s matriarch, she wants to escape his control, but neither of them can take on Andrei alone.
Nora’s story runs through The Heart Wants What It Wants. The first objective asks whether Coen will help Ocha and Nora at all. If he does, Ocha’s hex needs a personal item of Andrei’s, found in his hideout inside the butcher’s shop near the Eastern Gate; Andrei’s Ring is the correct memento.
Once Andrei is dead, the journal lets Coen free Nora. The rest of the quest is about Ocha’s choice: she can return to her clan, stay in Svartrau or leave the valley, and the quest can also end with her death.
