The flying Gargoyle outside Silts Tower
The Gargoyle guarding Aurelius’s Tower appears during Who Pulls the Strings, after What Moves the Dead. It can rise into the air before swooping at Coen. Watch which arm it uses: the swipe follows that side and can be blocked, giving you a way to survive the approach before striking back.
The game’s glossary describes Gargoyles as constructed creatures with blade-like arms and rapid regeneration. It points to their time on the ground as the opening to attack. At the tower, defeat the guard and use the door above the first flight of stairs to continue inside; the quest then sends you up to the book on the third floor.
The combat table below is labelled The Unblinking Blasphemy. Its level-one row has five health segments, 400 base melee damage and no listed magic damage. Those numbers describe that named profile, not every Gargoyle in the story; select the relevant level before comparing the values with an encounter.
