Unlocks the hidden vault in Aurelius’s tower library.
Which vault does this key open?
The Vault Key opens the hidden vault in Aurelius’s tower library. Library Key opens Svartrau Cathedral’s library instead, and Ancient Key is associated with Father Florin beneath Carpenter Row.
The key may be carried by Svetlana, The Dark Prodigy, the astrologer’s assistant encountered in Aurelius’s tower.
Aurelius’s tower is Silts Tower, in the southwest of Vale Sangora. Who Pulls the Strings takes Coen inside to find Silas’s Book on a third-floor pedestal. Taking that book also unlocks Life Lock; it is a separate objective from opening the library vault.
The door above the book starts Home Sweet Home, a difficult dream sequence that you can return to later. That upper door is separate from the library vault named on the Vault Key.
