What Armaya’s instructions mean
Armaya tells the excavation workers to secure everything they uncover. Paintings of the moon, darkness or eclipses are the specific discoveries she wants reported immediately; the workers must stop digging until she arrives.
For Coen, the relevant investigation is Unsealed Secrets: collect the research notes to prevent the discoveries from reaching Xanthe. The orders explain what the excavators are looking for. They are addressed to the workers and do not instruct Coen to hand his finds to Armaya.
Keep the document names separate while following the excavation trail. Armaya’s Orders is this short directive; Armaya’s Notebook is a different readable item. The Unsent Note found in the excavation investigation is also a separate document.
