Key to the Kennels

Follow the western courtyard route

During The Cycle of Love, collect the lanterns used to open the keep’s doors. Return to the entrance clearing and place a lantern in the statue on its western wall to enter the western courtyard.

Defeat the enemies there and go through the door at the back. Take the lantern and descend through the trapdoor. Fight past the zombies, then enter the next room with three hellhounds.

After the fight, search the bone pile in the southeast corner for the Key to the Kennels. Use it on the nearby door to return to the entrance courtyard and continue arranging the lanterns for the route deeper into the keep.
