Klaus among the soldiers’ desertion records
The report investigates sixteen apparent deserters. Its final case concerns Klaus, who had been assigned kitchen and latrine duties before disappearing.
His body was later found after an accident while carrying out those duties, and his name was removed from the deserters list. This account differs from Report on New Recruits, which concerns his attempt to impress the manumits.
Klaus is also the man in the barrel in Roadside Surprise. The quest page separates the dialogue decision, immediate completion rewards and later reports.
