How to get Journeyman's Sword
Look for Journeyman’s Sword in the Riverbank buried treasure west of Svartrau. The same treasure route leads to The Kingslayer, so compare both weapons before choosing your loadout.
Read the map from the camp south of Svartrau
Visit the bandit camp south of Svartrau and search the containers beside a wooden tent for the Riverbank treasure map. Read it in Books & Notes and track its activity to mark the search area west of the city.
The river runs through the search circle. Look beneath the tree on its eastern bank; the map also shows a tree icon at that spot. Bring a shovel and dig up the dirt mound to reach the treasure.
What its dodge bonus does
Journeyman’s Sword is a Superior greatsword with 32–46 base damage and a 6% reduction to dodge stamina cost. The effect lowers the stamina spent dodging; it is not a bonus to maximum Stamina or damage.
The Kingslayer instead supports Perfect Blocks and lowers attack and block stamina costs. Compare both treasure pickups with the defensive actions you use: Journeyman’s bonus is relevant when repeated dodging is exhausting your stamina.
