Find the map and the eastern dig site
Clear the bandit camp in Laslea Glen and search inside its house for the treasure map. Read it under Books & Notes in the inventory and track the treasure activity to display the search area.
Head to the mountainside on the eastern edge of Laslea Glen. Defeat the bear and inspect the ground where it fought for the dirt mound. Use a shovel to dig up the treasure; a shovel is also available at this site. Check the equipment inside for Polished Long Cleaver.
A sword for supernatural encounters
Polished Long Cleaver has 34–49 base damage and 4.8% damage against supernatural enemies. That bonus is specific to the enemy category, so it does not raise the weapon’s damage against every opponent.
The related Sharp Long Cleaver instead gives 6.4% magic damage and lowers Swordmastery cooldowns by 4%. Polished is the version with the supernatural-enemy damage bonus; Sharp offers a different combination for a character using both Witchcraft and sword abilities.
