How to get The Hand of Fate

Open the stone chest in the kobold cave beneath Florin’s ruins. First collect the Stone Key from the hidden cellar behind the cathedral treasury bookcase.

Get the Stone Key before descending into the ruins. In Svartrau Cathedral, inspect the ledger in the north ground-floor storage room for the Treasury Key. Open the separate treasury building on the north side of the courtyard, move the bookcase in its entrance room and go downstairs. Pick up the Stone Key from the ledge near the candles.

Return to Florin’s chamber beneath Carpenter Row and open the ruins with the Ancient Key. Pass through the opening in the first room, take the left corridor and turn left again. Crouch through the low gap, descend into the cave and defeat the kobolds. Open their stone chest with the Stone Key to collect The Hand of Fate.

The route continues toward Ancient Hero’s Armour. Go through the crack beside the sword chest, take the Old Key from the skeleton below and use it on the door above the ladder. The underground guide covers the remaining fights and the Simple Key shortcut back toward Florin.

The Hand of Fate combines +15% passive charge recovery, +8% active charge restoration, −5% Witchcraft cooldown and +8% magic damage. Its Witchcraft bonuses help daytime ability use, while its charge bonuses also support other abilities. Compare charge recovery and cooldown separately: recovering charges sooner does not remove an ability’s cooldown.
