How to learn Mercurial Fervour

The following manual supplies the book unlock for ranks marked “Manual unlock” in the rank table. Skill points and time are spent when you purchase the rank. See the skill book guide for manual requirements and planning examples.

The human form’s Haste ability

The Haste tutorial names Mercurial Fervour as the human form’s supernatural travel ability. It belongs to Witchcraft and briefly slows the surrounding world. Shapeshift is the corresponding Haste ability for vampire form.

Rank 2 halves the stamina cost, rank 3 keeps that reduction and adds 20% speed, and rank 4 removes the stamina cost while retaining the speed bonus. The reductions at ranks 2 and 3 do not add together.

Each rank costs one skill point and zero time segments. Ranks 2 through 4 require manual access. Learning this ability therefore does not provide the time advance you might be seeking before a night-only objective. It also does not take a common Active Abilities slot.

Costs are shown for each rank. Totals include this skill’s ranks only.
