Use wolf Haste for nighttime exploration
Shapeshift turns Coen into a wolf for Haste during exploration. The game’s Haste tutorial assigns it to vampire form; Mercurial Fervour provides the human form’s equivalent. Learning one does not replace the other form’s ability.
The four ranks require Corruption 1, 6, 9 and 12. Each costs one skill point and zero time segments, with no manual requirement. Keep these Corruption gates separate from the book requirements of Mercurial Fervour.
Rank 2 reduces Haste stamina cost by 50%; rank 3 retains that reduction and increases speed by 20%. Rank 4 removes the stamina cost and retains the speed bonus. Shapeshift does not occupy a common Active Abilities slot.
