Find the map, then dig below the river tree
Get the Briar Sloughs treasure map from the bandit camp in the woods between Maragir Wealds and St. Tyna’s Grove. Read the map in Books & Notes and track its activity to display the treasure search area.
Go to western Maragir Wealds and inspect the ground below the large tree beside the river. Bring a shovel to dig up the dirt mound. Mercenary’s Ring and Blacksmith’s Bracers are equipment found on this treasure route.
Mercenary’s Ring gives 3% weapon critical hit chance and 4.8% damage against supernatural enemies. Ring of Humanslaying instead adds damage against mortals. Choose the enemy bonus for the encounter ahead; neither one increases damage against every enemy type.
