Find the Split Rock map in the Silts
Search the chest in the bandit camp at the southwestern corner of the Silts for the Rockfalls Split Rock treasure map. Read it in Books & Notes and track the activity to display the search area in northern Rockfalls.
At the center of that search area, find the large rock beside the road. Inspect the ground behind it for a dirt mound and dig with a shovel. Check the treasure for Ring of Humanslaying; the same site also contains the Coat of Darkened Scales.
The ring’s damage bonus applies to mortals. For supernatural encounters, Mercenary’s Ring supplies that different enemy bonus together with weapon critical hit chance. For surviving incoming damage, Ring of Fortitude supplies maximum Health and magic damage reduction instead.
