To anyone else – this is an impressive mail and a display of craftsmanship. But to you – it's a family heirloom.
Start Buried Past before visiting the buried chest
Start Buried Past with the Grocer in Maragir, then follow the quest until it directs you to the buried chest. The chest lies at the base of a tree in a glade southeast of Parlita, in Boar’s Back. You cannot dig it up simply by visiting the marker before reaching that quest step.
Its base bonuses are +13% maximum health, +4% weapon critical hit chance, +8% weapon critical damage and +13% health regeneration. The critical chance and critical damage affect different parts of a weapon critical, while the health effects improve capacity and recovery.
Compare it against the chest piece you actually wear in the equipment tool. Armour rating, item level and the four bonuses all matter, so the listed values do not make it a universal upgrade for every build.
