This armour looks simple, but it has a few protective layers. It will do its job just fine.
Heavy protection with three combat bonuses
The coat lists 78 armour and 11.9 weight, plus −10% Omniblock stamina cost, −3% spell cooldown and +5% damage against supernatural enemies. The bonuses cover defence, ability timing and a named enemy category rather than one universal damage increase.
The Omniblock modifier lowers the stamina cost of holding the block, while the parry bonus on another item affects stamina restored after a timed defence. Keep those two mechanics separate when comparing chest pieces.
Its heavy armour profile suits a build that accepts extra weight for a stronger block and supernatural damage. Check the actual item level and armour penalties before replacing a lighter chest piece solely because the effect list looks broader.
