Ancient Hero's Armour

Reach the armour coffin and open the return shortcut

Enter the ancient ruins from Florin’s underground chamber with the Ancient Key. Follow the passages down into the kobold cave. The Hand of Fate is in a stone chest here; its Stone Key comes from the cathedral treasury. The armour lies deeper in the ruins, beyond this chest.

Squeeze through the crack beside the sword chest and descend to the skeleton below. Take the Old Key, climb the ladder and unlock the doorway above it. Defeat the Fallen Witch, then follow the west passage to the junction and take the stairs down toward the glowing chamber.

Defeat the guardian and search the coffin at the back of the room for Ancient Hero’s Armour. For the way out, pass through the narrow gap on the right of the armour chamber. Take the Simple Key from the body beyond it, climb the stairs and open the shortcut to the earlier ruins. Return to Florin if you are completing his trial.

The chest piece increases Health regeneration by 13%, active charge restoration by 6%, magic damage by 6% and damage against supernatural enemies by 6%. The magic and charge bonuses make it useful for a Witchcraft loadout; the supernatural bonus depends on the enemy you are fighting. Compare its Heavy Armour penalties with your current chest piece and check Second Skin II before changing equipment.
