Florin

From the cathedral confession to the underground trial

Speak to Florin at Svartrau Cathedral during the day and take the confession conversation to receive his invitation. In the Name of the Father then points to a building near the Western Gate marked with Saint Tobias’s hand. That meeting place lies beneath Carpenter Row, separate from the cathedral where you first spoke.

Florin’s trial concerns an ancient warrior’s armour. A Hero’s End leads farther into the ruins, and cooperating with Florin means returning to him after finding the armour. Killing him is not required to collect it. Decide how to handle his trial separately from the optional equipment you find underground.

The Ancient Key from his chamber opens the deeper ruins. The stone chest containing The Hand of Fate needs a different key: the Stone Key from the cathedral treasury. Collect that key before following the weapon route, and keep the return shortcut in mind when you descend.
