Take the ring if you want Ocha’s hex to succeed

Andrei’s Pendant is one of the personal possessions involved in The Heart Wants What It Wants, but it is not the memento that makes Ocha’s hex work. Bring Andrei’s Ring and select it when Ocha asks what you found.

Look for the ring in the small chest on the desk upstairs in Andrei’s hideout, inside the butcher’s shop in Svartrau. On the night route, the balcony on the south side gives access to the upper floor; use Focus while searching the room.

Choosing another personal item, including the pendant, causes the hex to fail. You must then fight Andrei and his men to save Nora. The successful ring choice avoids that rescue fight by allowing Ocha’s hex to kill Andrei.

The daytime and nighttime searches offer different opportunities to collect possessions. Check which item you are presenting to Ocha even if you have already picked up a memento.
