Take the leaves during the preparation window
After entering Lunar Manor with Farkas, you have three time segments to prepare before the competition. Find the bush in the corner of the courtyard and pick its leaves.
Go to the drink beside the contestant called the Cockroach and interact with it to add the poison. Do this during the preparation stage, before Bakir’s speech sends the contestants into the maze.
Who does the poison affect?
When you later reach the Cockroach in the maze, the poisoned drink leaves him on the ground and unable to fight. Without the sabotage, his encounter is a normal fight.
This preparation concerns the Cockroach. The Porcupine’s willingness to pass without fighting comes from talking to him before the competition, a separate action from poisoning the drink.
