I was approached by an odd man named Farkas. He claims to be Bakir's servant and that he could help me slay his master.
Use Farkas’s invitation to reach Bakir
Farkas offers a way to get close to his master, Bakir. Meet him near the Lunar Manor to hear the plan. The Lunar Tournament begins after sundown, so the preparation objective asks you to occupy yourself until dusk rather than enter a daytime tournament.
Talking to the other contestants and undermining rivals are optional objectives. One route involves finding poison and tainting the wine barrel to weaken competitors. These are preparation choices; the main tournament objective is to navigate the maze and reach the willow tree.
During the maze, the objective warns Coen to hold back his vrakhiri powers so Bakir does not recognise him. Further steps involve opening a gate with no keyhole, examining a box and deciding whether to retrieve a coin from a captive. Read the prompts before committing instead of treating every interaction as a harmless shortcut to the finish.
Reaching Bakir creates a choice of outcomes. One recorded ending follows Farkas’s plan through to Bakir’s death; another lets Coen take his reward and leave without killing him yet. After defeating Bakir, the journal offers the back way out or the front gate, where his entourage is another obstacle.
Farkas also asks for an amethyst family ring. The separate Ring guide compares the recipients and rewards for that request. Killing Farkas before hearing his offer cuts off this introduction to his plan, so keep that conversation separate from a later decision about Bakir.
