Choose a recipient for the Ring with a Purple Eye
The Ring concerns the magical quest item Farkas asks you to recover after The Lunar Game. You can give it to him or take it to another recipient. Anca exchanges it for Quick Fighter’s Ring, the Sanzhani Tsarina for Vrakhir’s Endurance, and the Uriash Matriarch for The Bulwark.
Find the Ring with a Purple Eye in Bakir’s treasury
After The Lunar Game, look in the small chest on a shelf along the north side of Bakir’s treasure chamber. The object for this decision is Ring with a Purple Eye.
Speak to Farkas about the ring. You can press him for the truth before deciding whether to hand it over. His explanation concerns his younger brother, Dusan, and the harm Bakir inflicted on him.
Farkas’s Ring is a separate equippable accessory with weapon critical bonuses. Use the purple-eye quest item when following this decision; the accessory’s stats do not describe the ring Farkas wants from the treasury.
Choose who receives the ring
Giving it to Farkas honours your agreement and ends this choice with him. If you refuse to give it to him, the next objective is to find someone who knows more about it. These alternative recipients exchange it for equipment.
| Recipient | Equipment | What to compare |
|---|---|---|
| Anca | Quick Fighter’s Ring | Human health, human health restoration and Swordmastery ability cooldown bonuses. |
| Sanzhani Tsarina | Vrakhir’s Endurance | Physical and magic damage reduction, plus blood-drinking restoration. |
| Uriash Matriarch | The Bulwark | Lower Omniblock stamina cost, more stamina restored by parrying and physical damage reduction. |
Anca stays at the Crossroads inn when she is not away on one of her quests. She offers to destroy the ring and gives you Quick Fighter’s Ring in exchange. Consider its human-form benefits alongside Vrakhir’s Endurance’s defensive and feeding bonuses.
The exchange consumes the quest ring. Compare the reward with your current equipment in the equipment comparison tool before choosing a recipient.
What happens to Farkas and Dusan?
The decision has a later story outcome as well as an immediate equipment choice. Expand the account below if you want to know what follows.
Show the brothers’ later outcome
If Farkas receives the ring, his attempt to use it to heal Dusan ends with his brother’s death. His journal describes the ritual changing Farkas while Dusan remains unable to walk, followed by Farkas’s increasingly dangerous attempts to “mend” him.
Taking the ring elsewhere leads to a different later encounter in Parlita. Farkas and Dusan are together in a cottage, where Coen can explain that Bakir lied about the ring’s healing power. Dusan is still dealing with what happened to him; destroying or handing away the ring is not a cure for his injuries.

Now that Bakir has been dealt with, there's the matter of the ring that Farkas asked me to recover from the treasury.
