How to learn Counterattack

Follow a Perfect Block with an attack
Counterattack rewards the attack after a Perfect Block. Rank 1 adds 10% damage and rank 2 adds 20%; rank 3 adds a 10% bleed chance to that follow-up. These bonuses are tied to the Perfect Block sequence rather than every ordinary attack.
Learn Perfect Riposte first. All three Counterattack ranks require manual access and cost four skill points and three time segments altogether. Sharp Eye is the next skill in this branch and can apply Weak after a Perfect Block.
For a manual pickup, search the tent in the soldier camp south of Laslea Glen. Ursul and Ocha provide shop alternatives: rescue Ursul through Lucky Crossing and win his camp duel, or finish The Heart Wants What It Wants to open Ocha’s teaching.
Counterattack is a passive perk, so it does not occupy the Active Abilities slot used by an equipped effect such as Scarlet Shield. Compare the attack bonus with the recovery you receive from your other Perfect Block skills.
