How to learn Pack Mule
The following manual supplies the book unlock for ranks marked “Manual unlock” in the rank table. Skill points and time are spent when you purchase the rank. See the skill book guide for manual requirements and planning examples.
Increase carry weight and run while Encumbered
Pack Mule increases maximum Carry Weight in both human and vampire form. Ranks 1, 2 and 3 give +30, +60 and +100 respectively. Each higher rank replaces the previous bonus, so the final increase is +100. Rank 3 also lets Coen run while Encumbered.
Learn Endless Effort before Pack Mule. The first two ranks have no manual requirement; rank 3 needs Pack Mule Manual. Learning all three ranks costs four skill points and three time segments, plus any prerequisite ranks you still need. If you already have rank 2, the final upgrade costs two points and one time segment.
For the manual, check the armourer in Maragir during the day. The shop’s book selection includes Pack Mule Manual, but availability and quantities can vary. Follow the vendor entry in the skill book guide before planning the trip.
