Search Xanthe’s remains after the fight
Xanthe can be confronted at Howling Keep or during her appearances at Svartrau Cathedral. After defeating her, search her charred remains for Corrupted Pendant. The boss guide covers her attacks and the encounter; the amulet comes from the defeated boss, so keep the loot step separate from the choice about drinking her blood.
The pendant reduces vampiric ability cooldown by 5%, increases damage against mortals by 8%, increases vampiric health restoration by 15% and provides +1%/s vampiric health regeneration. These effects favor a vampire loadout that uses abilities and needs recovery between attacks.
For a claw-focused damage setup, compare The Shredder: it gives claw critical chance, claw critical damage, claw damage and lower attack stamina cost. Corrupted Pendant instead keeps its value in vampiric cooldown and recovery, including when you use a sword at night.
