Open the chest in Lacra’s hidden cave

Finish the ruins and search beside the mandrake

After Our Rotten Roots, wait until Lacra is ready for The Night of Horrors. Ask about the idea she wanted to discuss to start this quest. Her separate proposal to deal with Brencis begins Midnight Reckoning instead.

Follow the quest through the ravine and ruins. After the fight, Lacra breaks open a wall leading to a hidden cave and the mandrake. Before leaving, open the chest near the mandrake to collect Astral Talisman and a skill manual.

Choose recovery or claw criticals

Astral Talisman gives +6.4% claw damage, +0.8%/s vampiric health regeneration and +12% vampiric health restoration. The two recovery attributes support a claw loadout that needs help staying alive.

Amulet of Clawing offers +3.2% claw damage without either recovery effect. Slasher’s Pendant instead combines claw damage with critical chance and critical damage. Compare the latter when damage is your priority and the talisman when recovery is more valuable.
