You could swear your feet tingle weirdly when you slip these on...
How Vrakhir’s Treads support a vampire loadout
Search Chariklea’s room inside Howling Keep for Vrakhir’s Treads. Chariklea is Xanthe’s daughter; these boots are room loot, so inspect the room itself when exploring the keep.
These boots combine four effects: vampiric health restoration, damage against mortals, blood drinking power and claw damage. Claw damage and damage against mortals describe different conditions, so compare them separately when choosing equipment for an encounter.
Blood drinking power and vampiric health restoration are also separate listed effects. Neither label is a vampiric ability health-cost reduction. Collector’s Pendant and Arbiter’s Ring offer that cost reduction in other equipment slots, so compare them when the Health spent on abilities is your main concern.
The same-slot comparison below keeps the decision focused on other boots. The build planner shows how your choice fits with the rest of your equipment and selected abilities.
