Just an old trinket... or something more?
Investigate the collector’s body, then compare the amulet
Head to the collapsed-house area north of Hunters’ Camp shrine. At the bottom of the ruined building, interact with the collector’s body and finish inspecting the belongings. The pendant is added to your inventory when the Sinkhole investigation sequence ends.
At the listed base values, Collector’s Pendant gives +6.4% claw damage and −6.4% vampiric ability health cost. Amulet of Clawing lists +3.2% claw damage alone. The pendant therefore combines a larger claw modifier with a separate cost modifier, although the item level and the rest of your equipment still matter in the game’s comparison screen.
Its third line reads “Magic damage reduction −4%”. The listed sign is negative, so do not count it as a +4% defensive bonus. Check the displayed total after equipping it when magic defence matters to your build.
Abyss Pendant offers a different trade: −3% vampiric ability cooldown and +4.8% damage against mortals, without Collector’s Pendant’s claw and health-cost modifiers. Compare the effects you actually use before swapping amulets.
Arbiter’s Ring adds a vampiric ability Health-cost bonus and recovery effects in a ring slot. Vrakhir’s Treads add feeding and restoration bonuses in the Feet slot.
