Find Anachora warriors on Lacra’s memory journey
Anachora warriors are supernatural energy in a human-like shape, with sword, heavy-weapon and rogue forms. Their combat name is Apparition. Coen cannot blood-feed on them, so prepare another way to recover Health before entering their fights.
Encounters during Our Rotten Roots
Our Rotten Roots takes you to Anachora with Lacra after Hive and Seek. Meet her at Westbridge Outpost at night when the quest becomes available. Inside Anachora, follow the opening gate and use Shadowstep and Planeshift to cross the first gaps and floating platforms.
Beyond the platforming section, ghost soldiers attack alongside a vidmo. Another group waits inside the large building reached through a hole in its wall. Farther up the route, two ghost soldiers fight alongside hellhounds. These are successive encounters on the way to Isbrand’s memories, so check your Health between groups.
The second-memory route includes an enclosed room containing ghost soldiers and hellhounds. Keep space to move and watch the group rather than focusing only on the soldier directly in front of you. When a vidmo is present, watch for its ranged Health-draining attack while handling the melee enemies.
Prepare without relying on blood feeding
Their human outline does not make them a source of blood. Bring healing supplies usable in your current form, and avoid spending Health on abilities with the expectation that feeding on the next warrior will restore it.
Anachora’s traversal also includes red vines that kill Coen on contact. Cross the gaps before committing to the next fight and keep those hazards in mind when repositioning near the platforms.
Alchemy ingredients they may drop
Anachora warriors may drop Dust of Anachora, a Vial of Aether or a Glob of Likho’s Light. Keep these materials if you craft Sharp Mind powders or Aetheric Attunement consumables.
Dust of Anachora is used in Minor Powder of Sharp Mind, Powder of Sharp Mind and Aetheric Attunement. Vial of Aether is used in Powder of Sharp Mind, Potent Powder of Sharp Mind and Aetheric Attunement.
Glob of Likho’s Light is used in Potent Powder of Sharp Mind and Potent Aetheric Attunement. Follow the ingredient links for the complete recipes and quantities.
Choose charge recovery or Witchcraft damage
Sharp Mind powders improve Activation Charge regeneration and work in both forms. Aetheric Attunement improves Witchcraft Ability damage in human form. Keep the ingredients for the effect your build uses rather than treating every Anachora drop as a sale item.
For Powder of Sharp Mind, collect two Dust of Anachora and two Vials of Aether, plus one Weak Spirits. Aetheric Attunement instead uses two Dust of Anachora, one Vial of Aether, one Mercurial Water and two Sodium Carbonate.
