Follow the stained-glass clue
For the shard route, obtain the Caretaker’s Key from the murohn behind the bookshelf on the second floor of the Asylum. Use the key to enter the caretaker’s shed and collect the Shards of Stained Glass.
Bring the shards to the craftsman beside the boarded-up window in the main cathedral during the day. The broken image depicts St. Mihai, making it a clue in the search for his crypt.
The stained-glass investigation is one route through A Monk and a Saint. The Cathedral Chronicle in the library and St. Mihai’s Chalice in the treasury provide other information; you do not need to complete every investigation to pursue the sword.
