Sancti Mihai Historia Vera

Reveal the writing with Anca

After Echoes of Silenced Bells, examine the rescued books on the table in the middle of the inn. When Coen finds the empty book, take it to Anca. The candle scene reveals its text and leads the conversation toward the monk Albertus.

The revealed account corrects three parts of the saint’s familiar story: Mihai fought vrakhiri rather than dragons; his weapon was a magical sword; and his body was buried with his belongings in Svartrau. These details explain why the book matters to Coen’s search for a weapon against Brencis.

Finish the conversation to begin A Monk and a Saint. Albertus is in the Middens at night, in a house covered with writing. Follow the markings in Focus Mode to reach him and continue the trail to Mihai’s tomb.
