Leave the armour chamber through the shortcut
Follow A Hero’s End through the underground ruins beneath Carpenter Row. After defeating the guardian in the lower chamber, search the coffin at the back for the Ancient Hero’s Armour. Taking the armour completes the quest objective, but the return passage is still ahead.
Face into the armour chamber and look for the narrow crack on its right side. Squeeze through, then search the body on the ground for the Simple Key. Continue up the stairway and unlock the door at the top.
That door returns you to the early ruins chamber where you inspected the wall above the sarcophagus. From there, take the stairs back toward Father Florin’s room. This shortcut avoids retracing the lower caves and the ladder door opened with the Old Key.
