Keep a vial available for fights without a feeding target
A carried blood vial lets you recover at night without finding someone to bite. Assign it to a quickslot before combat; the Blood Drinking tutorial gives Story difficulty a separate exception for drinking directly from the inventory.
For Mortal’s Blood Infusion, one craft uses one Vial of Human Blood, two Yellow Sweet Clover and two Perilla. The prepared infusion replenishes part of Blood Reserve and also increases Corruption.
Decide how much of the supply you need for immediate recovery before committing it to recipes. The same vial cannot remain in your quickslot supply after it has been consumed as a crafting ingredient.
