Reserve human blood and Perilla for this recipe
One craft uses one Vial of Human Blood, two Yellow Sweet Clover and two Perilla. Use the matching Recipe for Mortal’s Blood Infusion to gain recipe access; a vial of blood and a recipe book are different requirements.
A copy of that recipe is in the locked upstairs bedroom chest in Simeon’s warehouse during A Study in Crimson. Take the key from Simeon’s body after the fight, then collect the recipe alongside Black-Shin Trousers.
If you are also making Supernatural’s Blood Infusion, the two recipes need five Perilla in total. Their blood bases are different: Mortal’s uses human blood, while Supernatural’s uses Tainted Marrow.
The infusion is a way to replenish your reserve. Closing Wounds instead regenerates within the current health segment, so it can stop while part of the full reserve is still missing. Plan a blood restorative as well as any regeneration skill.
