How to learn Mesmerise
Drink Phial of Lacra's Blood to unlock Mesmerise in the Vampirism tree. The phial significantly increases Corruption. The rank table lists the ability’s effects and further learning requirements.

Lacra’s blood and the Mesmerise ability
Mesmerise makes a target fight on Coen’s side. Its description excludes bosses, so it cannot replace a boss strategy by turning the encounter’s main enemy into an ally.
The Night of Horrors contains a blood-drinking opportunity in Lacra’s closing conversation. Phial of Lacra’s Blood also states that consuming it grants Mesmerise and significantly increases Corruption. Check your inventory and learned abilities before looking for an ordinary skill manual.
Mandrake Ward is a separate quest perk that restores three vampire health segments after a fatal hit, once per night. Choosing recovery skills and choosing how to use Mesmerise are different parts of a build.
