It's mostly bitter, with only a faint hint of sweetness underneath. Drink it to obtain Mesmerise in the Vampirism tree. Significantly increases Corruption.
A blood phial that grants Mesmerise
Mesmerise makes a target fight on Coen’s side and cannot be used on bosses. This phial’s purpose is to grant that ability; it is a different item from an ordinary Vial of Human Blood used for recovery and recipes.
Lacra’s story also offers a direct blood-drinking opportunity in The Night of Horrors. If you have this phial, check the ability’s current state before consuming it and account for the Corruption increase stated in the item description.
Mandrake Ward comes from the mandrake decision and protects against a fatal hit once per night. It is separate from the ability named by this blood phial.
