The uriashi Bakr Clan was led by a wise and pragmatic Elder – but she couldn't do everything by herself. In fact, she asked me to look into something. As it turned out – I was about to get into some really private affairs...
Keep the Elder’s request separate from Ocha’s quest
A Mother’s Plea becomes available through the Elder after a peaceful entry into the village in Song of the Mountain. The request sends you to find Ocha at the tavern in Altenmarkt, in western Svartrau.
Ocha’s The Heart Wants What It Wants can also begin by meeting her directly. Completing that quest lets you return to the Elder to report Ocha’s decision. The Elder’s rewards include Soul Stigma Manual and information about the sacred-stone location.
The village approach is the important prerequisite here: a hostile entry changes which conversations are available, while a peaceful visit keeps the Elder’s request open. Read the Uriashi village section before committing to that choice if you are collecting every outcome.
Do not search the village for the quest item itself. The useful lead is Ocha in the Altenmarkt tavern, and her own quest can start there even when the Elder’s request is not in your journal.
