How to learn Witchcraft Mastery
The following manual supplies the book unlock for ranks marked “Manual unlock” in the rank table. Skill points and time are spent when you purchase the rank. See the skill book guide for manual requirements and planning examples.
Two kinds of Witchcraft damage in one perk
Witchcraft Mastery mixes a flat bonus with a chance-based one. Ranks 1, 3 and 4 raise Witchcraft Ability damage by 15%, 25% and 40%. Rank 2 adds a 50% chance to deal additional damage whenever you use a Witchcraft Ability, with the amount calculated from your character, and rank 4 makes that extra damage certain.
It is a root perk with no prerequisite. Ranks 1 and 2 cost one skill point and one time segment each without a book, making them two of the nine Witchcraft perk points available before you own any manual. Ranks 3 and 4 need Witchcraft Mastery Manual, and the full perk costs five points and four segments.
Both the Health-cost branch and the duration branch start here: it opens Frugal Witchcraft, which refunds Health costs on kills, and Lasting Malediction, which lengthens Witchcraft durations. The Matriarch in the hidden Uriash village sells the manual, and Vera and Mevasser list it among possible stock. For a temporary boost on top, Aetheric Attunement is the daytime preparation that raises Witchcraft damage.
