Follow Vera’s trail to the Pale Ravager’s cave
During The Bittersweet Toast, read the scattered pages near Vera’s ritual scroll. They point to the lizard gland as a way to protect Iulian Codrin from the poison. Follow the slime trail northeast, squeeze through the narrow gap in the rock and enter the lair.
Defeat the Pale Ravager and loot its body for Tatzelwurm Gland. Collecting the gland in this optional objective costs one time segment.
When preparing the brew, you can add the gland despite Iulian’s request to leave it out. Adding it protects him from the poison. You still need to finish the daytime ritual with Astral Communion; finding the gland alone does not complete his plan.
Tatzelwurm Gland also appears in the Razkovniche Elixir recipe, which requires two glands per craft. That crafting requirement is separate from the optional gland used in Iulian’s quest.
